The object is a 3-sphere (the surface of a ball in 4D), drawn as its Hopf fibers: 5 nested tori of circles. Column = how far it is rotated in the x–w plane, row = the y–w plane (full turn across the grid). Each cell is projected 4D→3D→2D; colour is depth along w, so the shapes pulse through themselves the way a 3D sphere's slices grow and shrink.
